About First Year Writing

ENGW 1111 - CRN 60201 - Section 01

This class challenged me to analyze my approach to writing in ways I never have before. I was asked to specialize each paper to an audience and genre by crafting rhetoric appropriate for each. I was also asked to think critically by forming and defending complex stances on real-world issues. The class also called for robust use of sources and evidence to strengthen my arguments. I was also expected to embellish my writing and keep it engaging to readers. This class allowed me to transform into a competent writer capable of tackling any complex task with efficiency and style.
